Italy's defence ministry will
contribute to security efforts for Pope Francis's funeral with
anti-drone systems, Eurofighter and a destroyer, officials said
Thursday.
According to what has been learned, in addition to the systems
capable of jamming and countering drones, the armed forces will
also make available a destroyer off the coast of Fiumicino and
fighters to ensure air safety in the skies of the entire region.
But not only that, because the Command will also make available
some accommodation, between Centocelle and Cecchignola outside
Rome, to host the children who will participate in the Jubilee
of Adolescents scheduled from April 25 to 27.
