The Italian Ambassador to Croatia, Paolo Trichilo, visited the WAM Group plant (north of Zagreb in the Varaždin region), welcomed by the company's Branch Manager, Giorgio D'Ascenzo. The WAM Group, based in the province of Modena, is one of the world leaders in bulk solids handling and processing as well as wastewater treatment. Founded in Italy in 1968, it now boasts its own production sites and subsidiaries worldwide, as well as two training centres (in Italy and China), with a total of more than 2,500 employees and a turnover in 2023 of more than €400 million. The company has been present in Croatia since 2001. The plant in Breznički Hum, which will be expanded in 2022, occupies an area of 15,600 m2.
