The Ambassador of Italy to Angola, Marco Ricci, visited the technical laboratories of the clean cooking project promoted by Ene (Eni Natural Energy) set up at the Professional Centre of the Salesians of Don Bosco in Luanda, where young Angolans are employed in the production of improved stoves. The programme, launched in Angola in July 2024, aims to replace the traditional and highly polluting stoves used in several provinces with high-efficiency models.
The project, promoted by Ene in the framework of the Mattei Plan, is not solely aimed at the pursuit of ecological transition, but embraces aspects concerning health, training and the creation of new jobs, with the involvement of Doctors with Africa Cuamm and the Salesians of Don Bosco.
