The Italian Ambassador to Sofia, Marcello Apicella, met with a group of students from the State Technical Institute "Giuseppe Mazzotti" in Treviso. The students were engaged in a cultural exchange with the "Nukk" school complex in Gorna Banya teaching Italian.
Together with the students, the Ambassador went over the history of the Italian presence in Bulgaria, illustrating the mission of the Embassy and presenting the different aspects that make up the Italian System in the country. The Ambassador expressed satisfaction for the initiative that gave rise to the exchange in which the students took part, an example of fruitful cooperation between the Italian and Bulgarian educational systems, stressing the importance of such initiatives to further consolidate the excellent bilateral friendship between Italy and Bulgaria.
