Italian director Paolo Genovese's
2016 film 'Perfetti sconosciuti' (Perfect Strangers) will be
screened at the Tribeca Film Festival in Manhattan in April, it
emerged on Thursday.
The film starring Giuseppe Battiston, Anna Foglietta, Marco
Giallini, Edoardo Leo, Valerio Mastandrea, Alba Rohrwacher and
Kasia Smutniak recounts an evening spent together by
longstanding friends and the secrets that emerge when they begin
to share the contents of their mobile phones.
Established by Jane Rosenthal, Robert De Niro and Craig
Hatkoff in 2002 allegedly to revitalise Lower Manhattan after
9/11, the Tribeca festival presents a mixed bag of largely
independent documentaries, feature narratives, foreign films and
more.
