Pope Francis treated Russia very
well, President Vladimir Putin said on his death Monday.
Pope Francis "treated Russia in the best possible way" and "we
will remember him", said Putin in response to questions from
journalists.
The head of the Kremlin recalled having met Francis several
times and having "maintained relations through various channels.
"This is a man who, I want to emphasize again, had a very
positive attitude towards Russia", Putin said, quoted by TASS.
